The tour of Pescara will begin at a symbolic location: the Casa d’Annunzio Museum, the birthplace and childhood home of poet and writer Gabriele D’Annunzio. This visit will also be an opportunity to admire important late 19th-century Abruzzese artworks. Next, we will move to the Cathedral of San Cetteo, where you’ll find the funerary monument of Luisa de Benedictis, mother of D’Annunzio. The tour will then continue with a visit to the remains of the Church of Santa Gerusalemme, before proceeding along Corso Manthonè and Via delle Caserme, two parallel streets that pass by the Bourbon barracks building. We will then reach Piazza Unione, where we will stop at the monument dedicated to Ennio Flaiano.
